Healing and Expressive Arts
Creative Healing for Every Body and Mind
Our Healing and Expressive Arts programs integrate trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and art-making to support emotional wellness, self-expression, and resilience. Through workshops designed for both youth and adults, we create welcoming, inclusive spaces where creativity becomes a powerful tool for healing.
Whether in classrooms or community settings, our programming offers consistent, supportive experiences that meet participants where they are—helping them process, reflect, and reconnect through art.
What We Offer
-
Youth Programming
In partnership with schools across Worcester County, our Mindfulness & Art Workshops bring social-emotional learning, creative expression, and mindfulness directly into the classroom. Rooted in the CASEL SEL framework, these semester long bi-weekly, 1-hour sessions use creative play to help students build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthy social skills.
-
Adult Programming (18+)
These free workshops are open to adults of all backgrounds and focus on creating a welcoming space to relax, reconnect, and use creativity as a path to healing. Our next 4-week Mindfulness & Art Workshop series starts this June—now offered in both English and Spanish! Each session builds on the last, giving you easy, practical tools to bring more mindfulness and creativity into your daily life.
Why It Matters
Mindfulness and creative expression are powerful tools for navigating life’s challenges. Our workshops help participants:
