Discover the art of spray painting and mural creation in this innovative six-session workshop series designed specifically for Worcester County youth ages 13-18. Led by professional artists from Artifakt Studios and across New England, this free program offers a structured environment for young artists to learn tools, techniques, and collaborative mural creation.

Workshop Curriculum

Our comprehensive program guides participants through a progressive learning journey:

  1. Stencil Art: Master basic tools using stencils and spray paint while understanding the aerosol medium

  2. Spray Foundations: Learn fundamental techniques with various caps, pressure control, and angles

  3. Advanced Techniques: Build on foundations with more complex applications

  4. Murals 101-103: Work collaboratively to conceptualize and complete a group mural project

Who should apply?

This is an intermediate-to-advanced workshop series designed for youth who have prior experience in one or more art forms and are ready to deepen their skills. Participants should be:

  • Between 13-18 years old

  • Residents of Worcester County

  • Able to commit to attending all six workshop sessions

  • Passionate about developing new artistic skills

Application Required

Applicants will need to complete our registration form detailing their age, previous art experience, and commitment to the program. While selection is competitive, we remain committed to creating an inclusive and accessible program for Worcester County youth.
